Design: Delightful Display
I was really impressed with the Oppo A54 when I first saw it. It’s a great-looking phone with a sleek design. The body is made of metal and glass and feels solid in your hand.
The 6.51-inch IPS LCD display is absolutely beautiful, with sharp colors and great contrast.
And despite its large size, the phone is actually quite lightweight at just 192 grams.
Performance: Designed To Perform
I got my hands on the Oppo A54, and I was really impressed with how well it performed. The phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6765 Helio P35 chipset and has a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. So, it’s definitely no slouch in the performance department.
Plus, it comes with 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM. You’ll be able to store plenty of photos, apps, and games without running out of space.
In terms of actual use, the Oppo A54 was great. The phone was fast and responsive, and I didn’t experience any lag or slowdown whatsoever.
Overall, I’m very happy with the Oppo A54 and recommend it to anyone looking for a great-performing smartphone.
Battery Life: Mixed Bag
The battery life on the Oppo A54 is excellent. With a 5000mAh capacity, it will easily last you through a day of heavy use. And if you need to top up, the 18W fast charging is quick and convenient.
Network: Improved Communication
Oppo A54 has a great network and compatibility feature. It has both 4G and LTE-A, which is great for my needs. The speed is also amazing, with HSPA 42.2/5.76 Mbps and LTE-A.
Additionally, the WLAN is top-notch, with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, and hotspot capabilities.
And finally, Bluetooth is 5.0, A2DP, LE, aptX HD, which is great for connecting to other devices. USB Type-C 2.0 and USB On-The-Go are also supported.
Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase.
Software: Not As Good
I’m really mixed about the device’s overall performance. The operating system is Android 10. Although Android 10 is not as well-equipped as Android 11 and Android 12, it is quite user-friendly and efficient.
I like that the phone comes with ColorOS 7.2, which makes it even more visually appealing. The phone is also really fast and responsive, which is great.
Overall, I would recommend it if you are willing to overlook outdated software.
Camera: Limited Possibilities
The Oppo A54 is a mid-range smartphone with some good hardware under the hood. It has a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 13 MP primary camera, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor. The camera is capable of shooting 1080p video at 30fps.
The selfie camera is a 16 MP unit with an f/2.0 aperture and 1.0µm pixel size. It too can shoot 1080p video at 30fps. The camera features HDR mode for both stills and video.

The Oppo A54 is a great option if you’re looking for a low-budget phone. It has a bright 90Hz LCD display. It’s powered by a decent processor. The battery capacity is good enough, but you don’t have fast charger support.
On the other hand, you are limited to choosing only a single RAM option i.e. 4 GB.
So, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly phone with some great features, the Oppo A54 is worth considering.
