The Tecno Pova Neo has a lot to offer for such an affordable phone! I tested the performance, battery, display, operating system and camera of the phone.

To put it plainly, I was hooked! It’s definitely a budget-friendly option that I would recommend checking out.

Design: Next Level Of Smartphones

Tecno Pova Neo has a sleek design that differentiates it from other products in the market. The design makes it easy to use and offers a great user experience.

I found that the worst part about the design of Tecno Pova Neo is that it doesn’t have any Gorilla Glass protection. This makes the device susceptible to scratches and scuffs. So, it became imperative to not drop the phone at any cost. 

Performance: Decent

The Tecno Pova Neo is a budget device that is decent for light gaming and everyday use. Although the processing speed is low, it’s still adequate for most games and basic multitasking.

However, for any heavy gaming or multitasking, Pova Neo isn’t really up to the task. 

Battery Life: Best Battery Phone On The Market

With its 6000 mAh battery, Tecno Pova Neo will last long enough to get through the day. Even with heavy use, the phone can still be relied upon to have enough juice to last until bedtime.

What’s more, Tecno Pova Neo also comes with 18W fast-charging support. So even in a hurry and in the need to charge the phone quickly, this feature definitely comes in handy.

Software: User-Friendly

I think that the Android 11 OS is amazing.

Chat Bubbles is my favorite new feature in Android 11. With the new version, it is possible to pin chats so that they appear on top at all times. This allowed the conversation to go in the form of bubbles which helps in multitasking. This option can be used with the most popular communication apps installed on the phone.

Furthermore, HIOS 7.6 User Interface is really user-friendly. The best part about this phone is that it comes with a lot of bloatware pre-installed, which makes for multitasking.

Camera: Satisfactory

There is only a single bad aspect that I thought brought down the camera. It is that Tecno Pova Neo doesn’t take the best quality pictures in low-light settings.

Nevertheless, there are some positive points about the camera as well. I was most pleased with the video quality feature which captures videos at 1080p@30fps. This is particularly great for recording memories and viewing them at your leisure.

 

 

Final Verdict

If you’re looking for a smartphone with a large display and long-lasting battery at an affordable price, the Tecno Pova Neo is definitely worth considering. It also has 128GB of internal storage, which will come in handy for storing all those new photos you’ll be taking with your new phone.

Overall, the phone is pretty solid for its budget. Definitely recommended.
