The aroma of beef nihari is enough to make one’s head spin. This spicy curry dish has a rich, satisfying taste that leaves one feeling drowsy yet satisfied with every bite! The tender beef cuts are slow-cooked in Nihari which unfolds an intense flavor infusing the broth with enriched herbs and spices. This decadent hot meat broth is served with freshly baked flatbreads, ginger root, green chilies, and lemon for extra spice.

Beef nihari is one of my favorite desi foods, but making it at home was always a long and arduous process. The hygiene levels at restaurants also made me question everything, so eating out was never really an option. I’m glad that there are now many nihari spice mixes available in the market, so I can pick up the best taste without having to go through all the hassle. Now I can enjoy my favorite desi dish any time I want, without having to worry about anything!
