Food That Makes Your Mouth Water: Saltanat Restaurant’s Review

If you’re ever in Karachi and looking for a great meal and an even better ambiance, check out Saltanat Restaurant. Recently opened, this restaurant is located at Old Drive Inn Cinema on National Stadium Rd. With a menu that offers Pakistani, continental, Chinese, and BBQ cuisine as well as traditional cuisines. There’s something here for everyone to enjoy.

FOOD: A DELICIOUS MOUTHFUL

The place was filled with the smell of different spices. The food was served fresh and piping hot. We ordered the following items:

PANEER RESHMI HANDI:

This dish was sublime. The paneer melted in my mouth, the gravy had me licking my plate clean, and the flavours were perfectly balanced.

CHICKEN TANDOORI BOTI:

The chicken was perfectly cooked, the spices were spot on, and the tandoori flavour was incredible.

MUTTON KARAHI:

The mutton karahi was my favourite meal of the evening. The meat was cooked correctly, and the gravy had a great flavour without being too spicy.

SALTANAT FIRE STEAK:

When the steak arrived at my table, it was an appetising sight. The chef cooked it perfectly according to my order and served it with fantastic mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables.

HUMMUS:

The hummus was creamy, with just the right amount of spices. It was served alongside fluffy pita bread.

I was very impressed with the food at Saltanat Restaurant. The dishes were all cooked perfectly and the flavours were spot on. I will definitely be back to try more of their dishes.

SERVICE: REWARDING

My younger brother’s birthday was on a Sunday, so we went to celebrate in Saltanat. It was really overcrowded because of the weekend. so, we had to wait 45 minutes to sit. Once we placed our orders, the food was served within half an hour, which was reasonable considering the number of people in the restaurant.

AMBIANCE: CHARMING

The ambiance of the restaurant was really good. The decor was eye-catching and full of vibrancy. The seating was comfortable and the tables were spaced out well.

There were various seating arrangements like you can enjoy food on a covered rooftop, in a ‘desi’ style upon Takht, or just under the glorious sky in an open-air environment, whichever you prefer.

They also have a kids zone where your Kids can enjoy premium rides against tokens.

GENTRY: HIGH CLASS

If you are looking for a place to celebrate small events or birthday parties with your family or friends, Saltanat Restaurant is the perfect place for you. The restaurant had a luxurious and spacious feel, and the gentry was very good.

HONORARY MENTION: SOMETHING DIFFERENT

If you are in the mood to try more delicious food, do try out the following Dishes:

FINAL VERDICT:

I was very impressed with my experience at Saltanat Restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was good, and the ambiance was perfect for celebrating a special occasion with family and friends. The only downside of this restaurant was the price.
